Being taken away from her childhood home by Children’s Aid Society due to domestic violence and abuse, Lynn has always been passionate about children and families. Not allowing her trauma to define her, she turned her childhood experience into strengths and advocacy for children.
Her passion drew Lynn to becoming a Child & Youth Worker and Counselor. Here, she worked with teens in the Psychiatric Adolescent Ward in London, Ontario, she created her own dayhome when her youngest son was born and then she went on to working with what was deemed “behavioural kids” in the traditional school system for more than 5 years in Edmonton, Alberta.
Her life experiences, then invited Lynn to leave the traditional school system and her Child & Youth Worker and Counselor role behind to study different quantum healing modalities.
For the last ten plus years, Lynn has incorporated “spirituality” as part of her daily practice of living and be-ing.
Her tool kit is expansive and deep, including but not limited to ...
ThetaHealing® Master & Instructor
Akashic Records Advance Practitioner
Reiki Practitioner
Light Language Facilitator
Crystalline Soul Healing Practitioner
Past Life Regression Practitioner
Lynn’s passion for children and spirituality was fueled into creating a school when her first granddaughter Tehya was born. Lynn had the profound realization that the traditional school systems, with its rigid structure and standardized approach, wasn’t what she envisioned for her granddaughter's development into a whole, authentic being.
She had already witnessed how mainstream education often overlooked crucial elements: genuine connection, celebration of individuality, nurturing guidance, experiential learning, and spiritual awareness - all essential components for developing emotionally intelligent, compassionate and spiritually grounded individuals.
This is Lynn’s dream and this is where her Child & Youth Worker experience meets her spiritual knowledge and experience to create something extraordinary.
The BRIDGE our children have all been waiting for!
Nicole (Nicki) Starkman was born and raised in Southern Africa, where barefoot adventures and a close-knit community instilled in her a deep love for nature, connection, and curiosity. These early experiences laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to nurturing children through holistic, joyful, and spiritually grounded learning.
With over 25 years in education, Nicki has worked across a wide spectrum of environments—from Forest Schools to academically rigorous programs—always centering the child’s emotional and creative development. As the co-founder of two home-based preschool programs in Calgary, she designed nature-rich, play-based curriculums that fostered wonder, resilience, and community among children and their families.
Nicki’s approach integrates her training in early childhood education with her deep commitment to spiritual and healing practices. She is certified in trauma-informed education, yoga and breathwork, and Ayurvedic philosophy. As the founder of the Rocky Mountain Soul Collective, she creates sacred spaces for women to gather, grow, and reconnect with their inner wisdom
Her classrooms are alive with song, movement, story, and intention—reflecting her belief that education should engage the mind, body, and spirit. She uses art, nature, and intuitive guidance to help children feel seen, safe, and inspired to learn.
A mother of two, Nicki believes in honoring each child's unique rhythm and gifts. Whether through pebbles, crystals, loose parts, or laughter around a table, she creates environments that awaken imagination and build a deep sense of belonging.
Nicki brings a rich tapestry of experience, heart, and wisdom to this school—where magic, mindfulness, and meaningful learning come together.
